Czech construction documentation

Understand Czech construction documentation, even if you do not read Czech

Upload Czech project documentation (projektová dokumentace) and get a structured list of what is missing, what contradicts itself and what deserves a closer look. Every finding points to the file, the page and the original Czech wording, and is written in English.

Findings in English, sources in Czech

Choose English in the app and findings are written in English. The original Czech citation stays next to each finding so a Czech-speaking designer can verify it.

Missing parts and conflicts

The review looks for missing chapters and information, and for conflicts between drawings, technical reports and other documents, for example a pipe diameter that differs between two drawings.

Traceable to the page

Each finding names the document, the page and a quotation. When two documents contradict each other, both are shown and the review does not guess which one is right.

Confirmed or to be verified

A finding is marked as a confirmed defect, a question for the designer or a missing document. What cannot be proven from the files is marked for verification.

Export for your team

Reports can be exported to PDF, Word or Excel, so you can send the list of questions to your Czech designer, contractor or lender.

Why Czech documentation is hard for outsiders

Czech project documentation follows a fixed structure with its own vocabulary: architectural and construction part, structural design, fire safety solution, technical building services, site layout and more. A package for a single house can run to hundreds of pages, and many of them are drawings with Czech annotations.

As a foreign investor or private builder you usually sign off on this package without being able to check it yourself. A review that tells you in English what is missing, what conflicts and which questions to ask is a practical way to reduce that blind spot.

What you can expect from a review

  • A list of findings grouped by topic and severity, each with its source.
  • Cross-checks between documents, such as drawings against technical reports or budget items against the design.
  • Questions you can send to the designer instead of general doubts.
  • A clear note about anything the review could not read, for example IFC and DWG models, which are not read by the document review. Attach drawings as PDF.

How it works

  1. Open the Quick Check and upload one PDF, or create a free account for larger packages.
  2. Switch the interface to English so the findings are written in English.
  3. Review the findings with their file, page and Czech citation.
  4. Send the questions to your designer, contractor or lender, or contact us if you want a person to walk you through the result.

Good to know before you start

  • Validorix is a review aid. It does not replace an authorised designer, structural engineer, fire safety specialist, cost estimator or lawyer, and it does not issue a stamp.
  • It does not confirm compliance with all Czech standards. Findings point to places that need professional verification.
  • Large packages are priced in credits based on the number and type of pages. The price is shown before the review starts, and nothing is charged without your confirmation.

Frequently asked questions

Can I upload Czech documents and read the results in English?

Yes. Upload the Czech documents as they are and set the interface to English. Findings are written in English and keep the original Czech citation so they can be verified.

Do I need to register?

No for the Quick Check on one PDF (up to 5 MB, up to 3 checks per 24 hours). An account is needed for history, larger projects and advanced modules.

Does it say whether my documentation will be approved by the building authority?

No. It points out missing parts and inconsistencies that are worth fixing before submission. Approval is decided by the authority, and the documentation is signed by an authorised designer.

Which file formats can I upload?

PDF (vector and scanned), images, Word and Excel files and ZIP packages. IFC and DWG models are not read by the document review, so attach drawings as PDF.

Can a person explain the result to me?

Yes. Write to info@validorix.com and describe your project. Validorix is developed by DigiStav Group s.r.o., a Czech company that also works with building surveys and BIM data.
